Activities

Fun and educational activities with our children are the core of the MOMS Club®. Every month we have a calendar and newsletter full of events. Once you become a member, you will receive a monthly calendar and newsletter via email or mail.

Most of the activities are during the day. You are invited to participate in as much of the activities as you would like. During the summer we add more activities for older children. Please feel free to suggest an activity.

Monthly Meetings

A monthly meeting will include socializing, introductions and a short business meeting to discuss and vote on upcoming events. We sometimes have a speaker with information of interest to members. Of course, children are welcome in the meeting room.

Playgroups

We have many playgroups on our calendar each month. Most meet in the mornings before nap times. Playgroups usually meet at local parks, a member’s home, mall play areas, coffee houses and fun restaurants for breakfast.

Story Time

Story time is held weekly at the library or a member’s home. Home story time allows children to bring a book to share with others.

Music Time

Moms and their children get together at a member’s home to listen to music, play with instruments sing and dance.

Field Trips

We like to organize day trips and tours for enrichment and a little variety. Some of our field trips include: East Hampton Fire Department, farm trips, pottery painting, days at the zoo, kid's fun spots, children's museums, holiday parades and much more!

Birthday and Holiday Parties

Birthday’s are celebrated during the Monthly Member meetings which are held once a month on a week day. All chapter children are invited. Families of children with a birthday for the month are invited. Participating moms of children with birthdays for the month: bring cake(s) or snack, and beverages.

Holiday parties are done pot-luck style. Some holiday parties include: Halloween costume party, holiday cookie exchanges, Easter egg hunts, Mother’s Day brunch and more.

Family Gatherings

Some activities involving the entire family are: Ice cream socials, annual potluck Barbeque, mini golf, bumper bowling and an annual Christmas party.

Art and Craft Days

We have crafts for kids. Holiday theme or crafts for someone special! Crafts will probably be messy so bring a change of clothes or a smock to wear.

Pool Time

In the summer we meet at Sears Park or at member’s homes for sprinkler and baby pool parties.

Mom’s Night Out

Every mom needs an escape from their busy family life. Each month we plan an exciting and informal night out just for moms. While children are welcome at all MOMS Club® functions, we encourage mothers to allow fathers or other caregivers the opportunity to bond with the children one night a month while they attend MOMS Night Out.  Some outings may include: Dinner at a restaurant, movies at a theater, pottery painting, manicure and pedicure night and game night.
